Aaron Shawn Patrick, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), served competently in the U.S. Army, both as an enlisted engineer non-commissioned officer and a commissioned engineer officer. CPT Patrick’s service necessitated extensive education and training with applicability having been exercised in both military and civilian engineering and construction programs / projects.

CPT Patrick demonstrated an understanding of the concepts learned at the engineer officer basic course, as well as executed these principals of leadership, ethics and management in the real world after completing training. Instruction was provided “in leadership and ethics, horizontal and vertical construction, and general engineering” . CPT Patrick served as a construction platoon leader, as well as executive officer on multiple deployments to include Operation Iraqi Freedom.

 

CPT Patrick then attended the engineer officer advanced course. Upon completion of the course, students developed awareness of leadership and ethical qualities; made effective use of human resources; plan the design, materials, procurement and construction of roads, airfields and supporting military facilities, and ensure quality in concrete, wood, and metal structures. Material additionally covered the management and control of an organization.

 

CPT Patrick demonstrated an understanding of the concepts learned at the engineer officer advanced course, as well as executed these principals of leadership, ethics and management in real world after completing training. CPT Patrick facilitated construction systems, minefield awareness, removal, and safety training in other countries to include Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan in an effort to improve Theater Security Cooperation throughout CENTCOM area of operations. He also was a member of several USACE construction source selection boards during this period. CPT Patrick additionally served as Exercise Related Construction Supervisor for the initial planning and supervision of an Exercise Training Facility/Peace Operations Training Center (ETF/POTC) located in Zarqa, Jordan. He performed this role until his medical retirement in October 2008.

 

Since medical retirement, CPT Patrick has consistently performed on projects for federal and state government. He has provided horizontal and vertical construction management services to the federal government for over twenty (20) years, having demonstrated a specific area of expertise with the US Army Corps of Engineers ( USACE ) and Veteran’s Administration (VA).

CPT Patrick is responsible for providing strategic, financial and operational leadership for the company. He will closely coordinate and lead the Board of Directors and senior leadership team.

Michael A. Bey, Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), is an innovative, solutions-focused Veteran with over 30 years’ experience as a Financial Manager demonstrating visionary leadership, progressive experience, and outstanding performance; developing, maintaining, and executing budgets in excess of $250 million. Forward-thinking leader and enterprising problem-solver with tactical foresight and veritable successful training, while leading teams and organizations with personnel exceeding 200 in complex situations.

 

Michael retired from the Army, where he excelled as a soldier and leader. After retiring from the Army in 2015, Michael has worked for the Department of Defense, and Office of the Chief Financial Officer of Washington, DC both as a Senior Budget Manager. Additionally, he also served as the Budget and Acquisition Chief for the Office of Satellite Production and Operations (OSPO), within the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Agency (NOAA).

 

Michael has a Master of Business Administration from American Military University and a Bachelor of Science from Austin Peay State University. He serves on the Board of Directors for several foundations within Prince George’s County Maryland.

 

As COO / CFO at Patrick and Partners, Michael is responsible for domestic and potential global operations of the company, building relationships and the overall fiscal posture. He brings more than 30 years of experience to Patrick and Partners, LLC. His experience and leadership has been focused on developing business services and solutions, providing outstanding client service/communication, and driving profitable revenue growth.
